RIO DE JANEIRO — Jose Aldo has answered questions about Conor McGregor ever since “The Notorious” entered the UFC, but he expects to change this routine after UFC 194.
Scheduled to face the interim featherweight champion on Dec. 12 in Las Vegas after pulling out of a clash with McGregor in July due to a rib injury, “Scarface” feels better as he returned to training at Nova Uniao.
“My preparation is great,” Aldo told the media during a visit to his social project to celebrate Children’s Day on Monday. “I just came back from my physical training this morning, came to the social project, and will train more this afternoon. My preparation is getting harder now, but I’m fine. I started my camp a month ago and I’m feeling good now. It’s not the ideal yet, but I will get there.”
After taking some time off to heal his rib, Aldo wants to forget the injury.
“Recovery was good, and now it’s time to focus on the future,” he added. “It’s in the past, we have to look to the future and forget about the injury and anything else. I’m 100 percent already, playing soccer and able to train. Let’s hope nothing ….View original article
