Khalid Taha has a date and an opponent set for his third UFC bout.

Fresh off his first Octagon victory, a 25-second finish against Boston Salmon at UFC 236, “The Warrior” is now set to take on Brazilian bantamweight Bruno Silva at UFC 242 in Abu Dhabi on Sept. 7, multiple sources told MMA Fighting.

Silva (11-3-1), a teammate of flyweight champion Henry Cejudo, enters the Octagon for the first time on a three-fight unbeaten streak that includes a pair of victories and a draw in Arizona. “Bulldog” competed on the fourth season of TUF Brazil in 2015, stopping Gustavo Sedorio before losing to Dileno Lopes.

Taha (13-2), a two-fight veteran inside the Rizin ring, signed with the UFC after stopping Hamza Kooheji in his first and only bout under the Brave CF banner in 2018. Following a decision defeat to Nad Narimani in his UFC debut, Taha scored his 11th finish in 13 professional wins with a quick stoppage over Salmon in Atlanta.

The UFC has yet to officially announce the main event for UFC 242, but the pay-per-view card is expected to feature a title unification bout between lightweights Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier.
