We’re all used to the whacky tweets by former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones at odd hours of the night.
What amazes me is that the tweet is still there in the light of day.
“Bones” took to social media following Daniel Cormier’s win over Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192 to congratulate the American Kickboxing Academy fighter for showing heart. However, true to form the Instagram was soon deleted.
There seems to be a pattern of impulse control with Jones and social media, who also deleted a tweet last January following Alexander Gustafsson’s fight with Anthony Johnson.
This one, however, has now survived more than 12 hours:

Replies to the tweet from fans demonstrated a mixture of excitement and skepticism. As one user noted, the hour of the posting was quite late:
