According to a report from The Sun, Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather are close to a deal that would pit the two in a boxing match. The paydays are apparently out of this world, too.

Money Mayweather — currently retired with the joint best boxing record in history of 49 wins from 49 fights — is set to earn £100million in the boxing bout, while McGregor will take home £7million.
Go ahead and hit up Google to get the exchange rate if you stack anything other than British pounds.
Contracts, though, are a hell of a thing when you think about it because they PREVENT THIS FIGHT FROM COMING ANYWHERE CLOSE TO HAPPENING. The UFC’s ink is thicker than rhino skin, folks, so don’t expect the world’s leading MMA promotion to just go ahead and let their prized asset go off and do his thing with Mayweather.
