The fireworks are getting close to kicking off as Dana White reveals a world tour will take place with a London stop.
Prepare yourself for some international smack talk as Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather gear up for a world tour. UFC president Dana White cracked a joke earlier this week implying there was something of the like cooking, and now it’s been confirmed.
Can’t wait for the world tour!!!! #mayweathermcgregor

And here’s MMA Junkie’s Mike Bohn cutting through the fun and games:
Dana White confirmed in @MMAjunkie interview yesterday that a #MayweatherMcGregor World Tour is coming. Overseas stop is London. No Dublin.

Showtime Sports vice president Stephen Espinoza recently talked about working out the details for a number of press conferences.
“Mayweather did it, I think we ended up at 10 cities in 11 days for the Canelo fight,” he said during an episode of the MMA Hour. “I don’t think it’s going to be something like that, but I do think this is the kind of thing where people are going to want to touch it and feel it and see these two interact. So I do think late June, early July there’ll be multiple cities. Not a huge tour, but more than a couple. And I think it’ll be something that’ll be really entertaining to watch.”
We have no word yet on how many more dates, but we imagine London was part of a tit for tat deal to keep McGregor from having the shoulder the burden of being the only one doing international travel to the United States. New York and Las Vegas also seem likely, but it’s anyone’s guess where any extra international stops might land.
