Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is no longer in the Lorenz Larkin business.
That’s because “Da Monsoon,” who was previously ranked in the top 10 at welterweight — thanks to a technical knockout win over Neil Magny at UFC 202 last August — recently inked a new contract with Bellator MMA.
Reuniting him with Scott Coker in the process.
Looking forward to seeing @da_MONSOON in the @BellatorMMA cage very soon. Welcome back Lorenz! #BellatorNation https://t.co/e1EEZNrErx

A date for his Bellator debut has yet to be revealed.
Larkin previously competed for Coker under the Strikeforce banner from 2011-12, racking up impressive victories over the likes of UFC standouts Robbie Lawler and Gian Villante, among others.
“Da Monsoon” was scooped up by UFC when the promotion acquired the former Showtime-televised organization in late 2012, but had a dreadful start to his Octagon career, winning just one fight in five attempts.
Since then, Larkin (18-5, 1 NC) reversed that slump to go 4-1, including last May’s split-decision win over the resurgent Jorge Masvidal.
See you on Spike TV.
