Bad news for Ronaldo Souza fans.
Despite a higher ranking — and a much better performance his last time out — the No. 2 ranked middleweight contender will not get the chance to rematch Luke Rockhold in the UFC 199 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place on June 4, 2016 at The Forum in Los Angeles, California.
That honor goes to 185-pound veteran Michael Bisping.

“The Count” will replace the injured Chris Weidman, who injured his neck in the weeks leading up to fight night. Bisping was last seen capturing a unanimous decision win against aging ex-champion Anderson Silva earlier this year on UFC Fight Pass.
Rockhold is no strnger to the British brawler, having choked him into the loss column in late 2014. To his credit, Bisping (28-7) went on to capture his next three fights, while his June 4 opponent slugged his way to the division summit at UFC 194.
