Lyman Good out, Sergio Moraes in against Omari Akhmedov at UFC Fight Night 80

Lyman Good is going to have to wait a little longer to see if he can extend his six-fight unbeaten streak.

The UFC announced on Wednesday evening that the 30-year old veteran of the Bellator cage was out of his fight with Omari Akhmedov, which was slated to take place at UFC Fight Night 80 in Las Vegas on Dec. 10. The promotion announced that Sergio Moraes (9-2) will step in to face Akhmedov on a little over six week’s notice.

Good made his UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 71 in July, scoring a knockout of Andrew Craig. Before then he four of his last five with one no contest (eye-poke) going back to his Bellator 95 victory over Dante Rivera. He became the CFFS welterweight champion in Feb. 2015. In 2014, he participated in The Ultimate Fighter 19, though he lost his preliminary fight to get into the house.

The 28-year old Russian fighter Akhmedov has won three of four since debuting in the UFC in 2013. He has won two straight, his last victory coming over Brian Ebersole at UFC Fight Night 68 in June (TKO).
