Matt Brown didn’t get much time to recoup after losing to Demian Maia at UFC 198 on Saturday night in Curitiba, Brazil.
Brown was allegedly attacked in the host hotel lobby on Sunday morning by his former jiu-jitsu coach, Rodrigo Botti. Though UFC commentator Brian Stann had initially reported that the incident was perpetrated by a random fan, Brown’s wife later revealed that it was Botti who allegedly attacked her husband.
