The high demand to order Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor is proving to be a problem for the UFC Fight Pass team.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Conor McGregor has been billed as having the potential to break the record for most pay-per-view buys, previously set by Mayweather’s 2015 win over Manny Pacquiao, which pulled in a reported 4.4 million buys.

Unlike Mayweather vs. Pacquiao, which had no options to watch the event online, Mayweather vs. McGregor is being sold through services such as Sling TV, the Showtime PPV app, and UFC Fight Pass. Unfortunately, the high-demand for this super showdown is apparently too much for the UFC’s servers to handle. Social media is currently filled with a stream of customers who are upset that they’re unable to order the PPV.

Apparently the stream itself is not working for some, including former UFC fighter Sarah Kaufman.

When Mayweather fought Pacquiao, there was outages reported when trying to order through cable companies. Apparently service has been restored, which will be a huge sigh of relief for those buying this card at the last-minute.
