Michael Bisping jokingly dares Georges St-Pierre to take some performance enhancing drugs.
Much to the disagreement of many, Michael Bisping will be defending his title for the second time against the returning Georges St-Pierre. St-Pierre has been on hiatus for four years, and will be fighting for the title in a weight class he has never competed at before.
Bisping and St-Pierre will be headlining the UFC’s Madison Square Garden card for 2017, at UFC 217. The two men have already begun their promotional efforts for the fight, which as expected, involved some gamesmanship.
In a recent Instagram video that Bisping posted where it appeared as if the two fighters had just come off a media obligation, “The Count” offered some parting shots to his challenger.
“Bye Georges, sweet dreams,” Bisping was heard saying in the video. “Sweet dreams, train hard, take steroids, don’t get caught though. Don’t get caught!”
Bisping has so far belittled St-Pierre’s efforts in preparation for the fight. Recently, he pointed out “not giving a sh-t” about the former welterweight champion training under renowned coach Freddie Roach, and hopes for a boxing match to ensue.
UFC 217 takes place on November 4th, and will feature two other title fights: the bantamweight championship between Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw, and the women’s strawweight championship between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Rose Namajunas.
