A welterweight clash between Michel Prazeres and Bartosz Fabinski is in the works for UFC’s first show in Argentina, multiple sources told MMA Fighting following a report by MMA Brasil.
The yet-to-be-announced UFC Fight Night card is scheduled to take place in Buenos Aires on Nov. 17 and features Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Neil Magny in the main event.
Prazeres (25-2) moved up to welterweight after winning six in a row at 155 pounds and scored a decision victory over Zak Cummings at UFC Chile in May. “Trator’s” seven-fight winning streak includes wins over Desmond Green, Josh Burkman and Gilbert Burns.
Fabinski (14-2) has also won his last seven MMA fights. The Polish talent joined the UFC in 2015, defeating Garreth McLellan and Hector Urbina that year, and returned from a long layoff to defeat Emil Meek via decision in July.
The unannounced event currently includes Khalil Rountree vs. Johnny Walker, Poliana Botelho vs. Cynthia Calvillo and Cezar Ferreira vs. Tom Breese.
