Two undefeated Russian middleweights headline ONE: Ascent To Power at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 6. Vitaly Bigdash will be making the first defense of his middleweight belt against compatriot Alexei Burotin.

Bigdash (8-0) won the title with a second-round stoppage of Igor Svirid in one of the most entertaining fights of 2015. Both men exchanged knockdowns in the opening round. The Ukrainian was saved by the bell when he was on the verge of being submitted with a rear-naked choke.

He will be up against an opponent that is also coming off of a stoppage win on his ONE Championship debut. Burotin (10-0) had to survive some early submission attempts from Leandro Ataides, but he turned up the pace to stop the Brazilian with strikes in the second round.

Also on the card will be a battle between two former champions. Narantungalag Jadambaa (10-4), who held the featherweight title as recently as last year, is taking on Kotetsu Boku (24-10-2), who has dropped down a division since becoming the organization’s inaugural lightweight champion.

Two of ONE Championship’s top middleweight contenders will do battle when Michal Pasternak faces Roger Gracie (7-2). Both men are coming off wins in their ONE Championship debuts, with the Polish fighter returning to action after suffering a serious knee injury in his last fight.
