Gotta admit, I’m a bit disappointed.
When former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate said she was posting a picture of her swollen nose, I was expecting Squidward-level puffiness.
Still a bit of bruising and still a bit of swelling but overall after surgery I seem to be healing well. #NoFilter #NoMakeup #Goodmorning #postsurgery

Alas, she’s still a knockout.
“Still a bit of bruising and still a bit of swelling but overall after surgery I seem to be healing well,” the former Strikeforce champion wrote on her official Instagram page.
Tate, who walked away from mixed martial arts (MMA) in the wake of her disappointing loss to Raquel Pennington at the UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) event last November, recently went under the knife to help improve her breathing (blame the septum).
See her bloody (and bandaged) post-op photo here.
Since “Cupcake” is now retired, she won’t have to worry about getting punched in the face for the foreseeable future, assuming she doesn’t run into this former rival somewhere on the streets of Glendale.
