Stipe Miocic and Junior dos Santos respond to the news of Anthony Joshua’s potential multi-million dollar deal with the UFC.
Reigning UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic might just get his mega-money boxing match with Anthony Joshua after all.
According to a report by Gareth A Davies of The Telegraph, the UFC is looking to ink a multi-fight, $500 million deal with Joshua as part of Dana White’s proposed venture into boxing.
“The Ultimate Fighting Championship is making an audacious bid to sign a promotional multi-fight deal with Anthony Joshua which could earn the Londoner $500 million (£353 million) and make him the richest British boxer of all time,” Davies reported on Wednesday.
The news traveled fast, and it didn’t take long for two UFC heavyweight titans to give their thoughts on social media.
Miocic, who recently defended his HW title against Francis Ngannou at UFC 220, is patiently waiting for Joshua to sign the contract.

Joshua, the current WBA, IBF, and IBO heavyweight boxing champion, is currently gearing up for a title unification bout with undefeated New Zealander Joseph Parker on March 31. The highly anticipated bout will take place at the iconic Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
If ‘AJ’ does sign with the UFC, it’s expected that he will fight exclusively in the boxing ring, although the Londoner has teased at potential MMA bouts with ‘the guy from Congo’, Ngannou, and former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
