Reigning ONE Championship 145-pound titleholder Narantungalag Jadambaa was set to defend his belt against Marat Gafurov in Jakarta last month, but Indonesian immigration officials refused to allow the Mongolian into the country.
Instead, Gafurov found himself facing undefeated Australian Martin Nguyen for an interim version of the belt. The Russian won courtesy of a quickfire submission. A unification bout between Gafurov and Jadambaa was confirmed on Tuesday for a Nov. 21 event in Beijing.

Jadambaa (10-3) has won nine out of his last ten fights. In 2011, he won the Legend FC 155-pound title. In 2014, he claimed the ONE Championship 145-pound title, but the Mongolian has been away from the cage for over a year.
The win over Nguyen was the third that Gafurov (12-0) has registered for ONE Championship, after previously submitting Ev Ting and Rob Lisita. The Russian is a former M-1 145-pound champion and holds a black belt in BJJ.
