Things almost kicked off between Nate Diaz and Brendan Schaub after the Mayweather-McGregor fight.
It seems there’s some disagreement between Nate Diaz and Brendan Schaub over Conor McGregor’s performance at Las Vegas’ T-Mobile Arena last night.
McGregor, who fought Diaz in back-to-back fights at UFC 196 and UFC 202, stood toe-to-toe with Floyd Mayweather Jr. for 10 rounds and put up a better fight than most analysts predicted.
The Irishman entered the ring with no professional boxing experience but took some of the early rounds against ‘The Best Ever’ and out landed some of his former opponents.

Diaz, though, wasn’t impressed with his performance and told Showtime Sports analyst Brendan Schaub that Mayweather wasn’t even trying.
It’s hard to make out what was said, but Stockton’s own Diaz eventually gave Schaub the middle finger and told him to ‘f**k’ off. Check out the video below

McGregor, the current UFC lightweight champion, started off strong against ‘Money’ but faded in the later rounds. Mayweather got the stoppage in the 10th round and extended his record to a perfect 50-0, surpassing the great Rocky Marciano, a former heavyweight with 49 consecutive wins and 43 KO’s.
McGregor is expected to return to the Octagon in the fall, and ‘The Notorious’ could just face Diaz in a trilogy bout.
McGregor was submitted by Diaz at UFC 196 but picked up a majority decision in last Summer’s epic welterweight rematch.
The two have unsettled business.
