UFC light heavyweight Nick Roehrick has accepted a one-year suspension from the USADA, according to a release from the agency Thursday.
The 30-year-old was flagged by the USADA on Aug. 17 after losing by third-round TKO to Jared Cannonier at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale this past July in Las Vegas, Nev. Roehrick signed on for his Octagon debut on just three days’ notice as a replacement for Steve Bosse.
According to the release, Roehrick tested positive for clomiphene and its metabolite, 4-hydroxyclomiphene. The results came from an out-of-competition urine sample collected on Aug. 8.
Roehrick (7-1) will be eligible to compete again on Aug. 17, 2018.
