ONE Championship bantamweight contender Mark Striegl planning cage return ‘soon’

Bibiano Fernandes is arguably ONE Championship’s most dominant titleholder. The Brazilian has won 10 straight fights but bantamweight is also probably the promotion’s strongest division. There is a long queue of contenders for the crown and Mark Striegl is nearly at the head of it.
The Filipino boasts a 14-1 record and got his ONE career off to the best possible start with a win over the previously undefeated Casey Suire at the start of the year. The promotion has a big fan following in the Philippines and fans there would love to see Striegl fight for the title.
It’s something which is on the mind of the 27 year old, but he believes that the time to challenge Fernandes has not arrived.
Yet.
