The Best Resource For Mixed Martial Arts MMA

Ovince Saint Preux talks about his broken arm for the first time since UFC 197

There’s no denying that UFC 197 was all about former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Light Heavyweight kingpin and current pound-for-pound best fighter in the world Jon Jones.

After all, Jones was making his return to the Octagon after 15 months of felony hit-and-run charges, drag racing, and an overall lack of judgement. To see him step inside of the cage after dealing with all of that obviously commanded the spotlight at UFC 197.

But the spotlight often shines brightest on those who have earned it. And considering Ovince Saint Preux went five rounds with “Bones” on three weeks notice and with a broken arm suffered in the second round, it’s safe to say the former University of Tennessee football star has earned the undying respect and attention of the mixed martial arts (MMA) world.

The Light Heavyweight contender recently took to Twitter to weigh in on his own efforts:

if you didnt know, its kinda hard to tweet with one arm . I’d like to thank the @ufc & @JonnyBones for the opportunity this past weekend…

We didn’t get the win, but not for lack of trying. Going 5 rounds w/ the p4p with a broken arm is not an easily accomplished task…

Some people wouldve caved, but when you want something bad enough youll risk losing an arm for it. Cant say I dont have the heart of a champ

Now I need the title to match. Big thanks to everyone that’s supported & believed in me… #immokalee #vfl #rqq #Haiti #DownWithOSP @KnoxMma
