“The Predator” looks to avoid a sting from “Killa B” in “Beantown” this winter.

An intriguing welterweight collision is set to take place on the upcoming UFC Fight Night 81 mixed martial arts (MMA) card on Jan. 17, 2016.

Veteran combatants of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Patrick Cote (22-9) and Ben Saunders (19-6-2) will meet inside TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts, according to Canadian outlet TSN.

“The Predator” is on a hot streak, having won five of seven bouts inside the Octagon since his return to the organization that made him famous in July 2012, most recently finishing perennial tough guy Josh Burkman with strikes at UFC Fight Night 74 last August.

With a rising record, it appears Cote was a bit unhappy with the matchmaking.

“I was looking for a Top 15 guy, I’m 4-1 in the welterweight division in the UFC so I think I was deserving of a better matchup. No disrespect to Ben Saunders, he’s a very tough guy but I wanted to face someone in the top 15 to put me in a good place after my next fight with a win.
