Paul Heyman: WWE would be better for UFC champ Conor McGregor

Ladies and gentlemen, his name is Paul Heyman, and he is the advocate for … Conor McGregor?

Turns out the brains behind Brock Lesnar’s brawn is also a believer that “Notorious” — who currently holds the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) lightweight title — would make a positive (and profitable) addition to the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) roster.

“He’s a main line box office attraction, he’s a headline news grabber,” Heyman told WWE Network (via The Sun). “I think it’d be great for WWE and I think it would be even better for Conor McGregor.”

He’s already got the built-in storylines.

McGregor, assuming he was interested in such an endeavor following this extended break, would not be the first mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter to retire from cage fighting to pursue titles in both boxing and professionally wrestling.

Didn’t work out for this “Rowdy” superstar but hey … first time for everything.
