Still don’t believe Conor McGregor is Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) new golden boy?
Maybe the promotion’s new merchandise will convince you, as the Las Vegas, Nevada-based mixed martial arts (MMA) company has unveiled a shirt — available exclusively at www.ufcstore.com — celebrating Conor’s 13-second knockout victory over Jose Aldo.
“Notorious” absolutely obliterated former champion Jose Aldo in the main event of UFC 194 back on Dec. 12, 2015 in Las Vegas Nevada (see it again here ) to capture the officials Featherweight strap.
Just another step in Conor’s path to becoming the company’s biggest star…and its first-ever $100 million man.
And while Irish fans will likely buy this shirt in bundles, it’s safe to say you won’t bee seeing too many of these floating around in Brazil, as most Aldo supporters could likely see this as an insult.
Conor will next look to capture the UFC’s Lightweight strap as he is set to face division champion Rafael dos Anjos in the main event of UFC 197 on March 5, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada (details here).
