The first The Ultimate Fighter Brazil winner is in hot water.

Rony Jason was caught on tape assaulting a woman during a party in his hometown of Quixada, Brazil, Saturday night. In two videos that went viral, Jason is caught landing a punch on the woman while she’s on the ground, pointing his finger and yelling at her.

Brazilian news outlet G1 reported that the woman being attacked by Jason is his sister. Women’s Protection Police commissioner Janaina Siebra told the outlet that the case is being investigated, and the MMA fighter is expected to give his testimony soon.

Jason did not respond to a request to comment made by MMA Fighting.

Jason (14-7, 1 no-contest) made his Octagon debut in 2012, defeating Godofredo Pepey to become the TUF Brazil featherweight winner, but only won one of his last six bouts. His second victory, a quick submission over Damon Jackson, was overturned after Jason tested positive for diuretics.

The 33-year-old Brazilian has claimed over the past few months that he was still under contract with the UFC, but the promotion told MMA Fighting that Jason has been released following his most recent bout in March.

“UFC featherweight Rony Jason was released from the organization after suffering three losses in his last four bouts,” the UFC statement read. “Jason’s last UFC fight was in Fortaleza in March 2017.”
