UFC Fight Night 76 went down last weekend (Sat., Oct. 24, 2015) from inside 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, and now it’s time to see who went home with the biggest slice of the Reebok sponsorship pie.
Last-minute headliners, Louis Smolka and Paddy Holohan, were not the highest earners, as each combatant took home a $2,500 check for their efforts (recap here).
In fact, UFC Fight Night 76 saw a very low payout for sponsorship checks, thanks in large part to losing two high-profile bouts. Stipe Miocic vs. Ben Rothwell and Joseph Duffy vs. Dustin Poirier were scratched due to injuries (details here and here).
The highest earner of the night was Darren Elkins, as he reeled in a nice $10,000 check, with Cathal Pendred coming in second with $5,000.
