It now appears that Korean Zombie will lock horns with featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas at UFC 214 on July 29 from inside the Honda Center in Anaheim, Calif., per a recent report by Chris Taylor of BJPenn.com. The 145-pound clash was originally rumored to go down at UFC on FOX 25 on July 22 from Long Island, New York.

Chan Sung Jung, better known as Korean Zombie, rebounded after a three-year hiatus from MMA to defeat Dennis Bermudez via first-round knockout at UFC Fight Night 104 this past February. Before that, the South Korean striker lost his lone bid for UFC gold when he fought featherweight champion Jose Aldo at UFC 163.
Lamas, 34, shook off a UFC 199 loss to Max Holloway last June when he submitted Charles Oliveira at UFC Fight Night 98. The former title challenger hasn’t won back-to-back fights since 2014 and that’s exactly what he’ll try to do against Korean Zombie this July.
UFC 214 will presumably feature a light heavyweight title rematch between current champion Daniel Cormier and former divisional king Jon Jones.
