Middleweights Nate Marquardt and Cezar Ferreira will duke it out in November.
UFC middleweights Nate Marquardt and Cezar Ferreira will slug it out in November, as Ferreira himself broke the news to Primeiro Round, who first reported this bout. According to Ferreira, the pair will meet in Norfolk, Virginia, at UFC Fight Night 120.
The 38 year-old Nate Marquardt (35-18-2) will look to snap a two-fight losing skid, with unanimous decision defeats to Vitor Belfort and Sam Alvey. His last win was a second-round KO of Tamdan McCrory back in October 2016.
Cezar “Mutante” will also try to bounce back from a loss, as he was bested by Elias Theodorou via unanimous decision in February. Before the defeat, Ferreira was on a three-fight winning streak, with wins over Oluwale Bamgbose, Anthony Smith and most recently Jack Hermansson.
No other bouts aside from Marquardt vs. Ferreira have been linked to the card, which is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 11th on Fox Sports 1.
