The Ultimate Fighting Championship’s bicentenial numbered event is scheduled to take place on Independence Day weekend in 2016 at the $350 million arena currently under construction on the Las Vegas Strip.
Naming rights on the new Las Vegas arena are currently being negotiated and UFC 200 could take place at the “UFC Center.” According to Las Vegas CBS affiliate KLAS, UFC executives have shown interest in securing the naming rights for the 20,000 seat facility.

“The hometown company is talking with the MGM and AEG about naming rights,” the Las Vegas-based news outlet reported. The owners of the fight promotion are deliberating whether or not “it makes financial sense.”
