Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey is starting to make her way back into the mixed martial arts (MMA) limelight. As expected, her knockout loss to Holly Holm (video), which took place at UFC 193 last month in Australia, left her “really f—ing sad.”
And unable to eat apples for three-to-six months, but that won’t keep her from returning to the cage.
“What else am I going to fucking do?” Rousey asked Ramona Shelburne.
Promotion president Dana White already guaranteed his fallen star an immediate rematch, but now the stakes are even higher. If Rousey is unable to reclaim her bantamweight title from “The Preacher’s Daughter,” she may call it a career.
“I guess it’s all going to be determined by what happens in the rematch,” Rousey told ESPN Magazine. “Everything is going to be determined by that. Either I’ll win and keep going or I won’t and I’ll be done with everything.”
