Sage Northcutt isn’t the only fighter in his family, as his sister is about to make her pro debut.
Sage Northcutt’s older sister is about to begin her journey into the world of professional mixed martial arts. 24-year-old Colbey Northcutt will take her first pro bout on a Legacy Fighting Alliance card in June, according to MMA Fighting.
According to the article, via her father Mark, she “has over a dozen titles in point and continuous fighting and was named Black Belt Magazine’s Competitor of the Year in 2009. Northcutt has a purple belt in jiu-jitsu, and is a third degree in Taekwondo and a fourth degree in Kajukenbo.”
She will compete at 135 pounds, and has compiled a 4-1 amateur MMA record. Due to her education though, she hasn’t fought since 2014.
Here’s a pic of her and her brother Sage, the 21-year-old who already has five UFC bouts under his belt:
Sage recently announced that he will be training full-time after taking some time off of school, but doesn’t have a bout scheduled as of today.
