Submission Underground, the grappling tournament run by Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) veteran Chael Sonnen, took place last night (Sunday, July 17, 2016) inside Roseland Ballroom in Portland, Oregon, streaming live on FloCombat.com.

In the main event, Vinny Magalhaes did what he usually does when people try to roll with him and that’s win by way of submission. How far underground he was during the tap has yet to be determined. Elsewhere on the card, Ricco Rodriguez came up empty while Jake Shields and Chris Lyle tore the house down with their epic chess match.
