Van Soest previously competed for the Muay Thai organization Lion Fight. In March, she posted on social media that she was forced to sell her Lion Fight 125-pound title because the promotion had not paid her for her last fight.
“Time Bomb,” a Southern California native, is one of the top female Muay Thai and kickboxing competitors on the planet. She holds a 12-2 -1 record in pro kickboxing.
Van Soest, 27, is a black belt in karate and often trains with well-known MMA names like Joe Schilling, Carla Esparza and Jessica Penne.
GLORY airs on both UFC Fight Pass and the ESPN family of platforms. The promotion has not run many women’s fight as of late, but the talented, exciting and marketable Van Soest is a nice building block.
