Former UFC light heavyweight champion Tito Ortiz decided to take a chance and laid down a whopping $50,000 on “Lioness” — who was the underdog — to retain her title against the former division champ, who came in as favorite despite a previous loss coupled with a year-long layoff.

He’s no Floyd Mayweather, but it’s still a decent chunk of change.
Indeed, Nunes shocked the world — but not herself — following her impressive performance, which just so happened to be her first-ever title defense against the face of women’s MMA; even leaving some people in tears at the T-Mobile Arena, according to Dana White.
As for Rousey, she hasn’t committed to a retirement just yet, but don’t expect to see her inside the Octagon anytime soon.
