“The Viper” bites back…
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight titleholder T.J. Dillashaw was labeled a “snake in the grass” by interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor just as the two became part of opposite coaching staffs on The Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 22 this fall.
After being exposed by “Notorious” prior to his time on the silver screen alongside former friend turned enemy Urijah Faber, “The Viper” packed his belongings and moved out to Colorado, where he would then be reunited with former striking coach Duane Ludwig and the Elevation Fight Team.
But Dillashaw sees his not-so-easy departure from Team Alpha Male (TAM) in Sacramento, California as a two-way street. The 29-year-old wasn’t receiving the necessary coaching and McGregor also upped and moved from his native Dublin.
To be fair, I’m pretty sure the Mac Mansion was rented for him and his team for his UFC 189 pay-per-view (PPV) headliner opposite TAM superstar Chad Mendes, but if the uncensored McGregor can secure that nine-figure contract, he just might be living in “Sin City” full-time.
