Tweet of the Day: Watch Conor McGregor drag race fans at stoplight

The UFC lightweight champion was spotted late night on the streets, and gave fans a little taste of exhaust.

Why even have a Lamborghini if you can’t use it to style on people late night when the light changes? That’s the question Conor McGregor found himself up against recently on the streets of Dublin (h/t MMAMania).

The UFC lightweight champion posted a video to his Instagram account, apparently taken by a fan, who pulled up along side the ‘Notorious’ Irishman late one night. After exchanging a couple words with the man in the car, McGregor hit the gas and left his fans way in the dust.

“The people of Ireland. I love you,” McGregor wrote along with the posted video.

Now if the UFC could just get him to move that fast on his way back to the Octagon.

McGregor hasn’t been seen in the cage since winning the lightweight title against Eddie Alvarez back in November of 2016. He still put on the biggest combat sports event in 2017, a boxing match against Floyd Mayweather Jr. that set new international PPV buy records (and 2nd all time in North American buys). When he returns to the UFC, and against whom, remains to be seen.
