Two Asian heavyweights face off in Full Metal Dojo 7 main event on Oct. 31

Full Metal Dojo (FMD) 7 is set for the Insanity Nightclub in Bangkok on October 31st and the main event will be a heavyweight fight between Amir Aliakbari and Hyung Chul Baek. The Iranian is a former wrestling world champion who will be making his pro debut while the Korean has a pro record of 1-1.

In total there are 10 fights on the card with up-and-coming Thai strawweight Pongsiri Mitsatit (5-0) set to return to the FMD cage for the fourth time. The Thai teenager is reportedly a target for ONE Championship and he will be looking to extend his unbeaten record when he takes on debutant Wisava Kaweewarakorn.

There will be fighters from several of the country’s top camps on the card with Aliakbari’s AKA Thailand teammate Nikolai Kozyrew (1-0) set to face off against Phuket Top Team’s Youssef Wehbe (1-2-0-1) in a welterweight matchup while Filipino 115-pounder Jhaymie Gayman (1-0) returns to the FMD cage to take on debutant Do Meng.

FMD is Thailand’s biggest mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion and has held multiple events in both Bangkok and Phuket since being founded last year.
