And that’s saying a whole lot.
Ronda Rousey may be the queen of mixed martial arts (MMA), but Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) strawweight champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, is building a strong fan base.
The Polish-born fighter has made quite a name for herself since capturing the title earlier this year by absolutely obliterating then-title holder, Carla Esparza, at UFC 115 in Dallas Texas (highlights here).
She followed up that performance by taking out Jessica Penne in her first-ever headlining event at UFC Fight Night 69 this past June (see the bloody aftermath here).
But those performances will pale in comparison to her next bout, as she says her upcoming title fight against Valerie Letourneau will be a big hit. Figuratively speaking, Mark Hunt’s most powerful hit won’t be able to hold a candle to it, says Joanna.
