Holly Holm shocked the mixed martial arts (MMA) universe and turned social media upside down with her one-sided drubbing of previous Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s Bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey at UFC 193 last night (Sat., Nov. 14, 2015) inside Etihad Stadium in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

“Preacher’s Daughter” became the second women’s 135-pound ruler in UFC history off of a sound boxing gameplan that saw her routinely bust up the face of “Rowdy” with precise straight lefts all night. Holm shook off a throw from the former Olympic Judoka and even put her on the canvas at one point.
When the second round rolled around, the 34-year-old flattened Rousey with a left high kick and hammer fists to notch the momentous upset victory, for which she thanked her coaches at the Albuquerque, N.M., Jackson-Winkeljohn MMA camp.
