Break out your best Dr. Evil voice because the disclosed purse for mixed martial arts (MMA) sensation Conor McGregor at UFC 196 is an estimated $1 million, according to the Nevada State Athletic Commission (as reported by ESPN).
McGregor, 19-2, talks a lot about how much he likes the color of money and right about now he must be seeing all green. The figure is the first $1 million disclosed purse in UFC history.

As for Diaz, much as McGregor liked to say during the press conferences, he’s now quite a bit richer with a straight $500,000 purse to show (no win bonus). So, 13 seconds or 1,500 seconds, he makes the same amount of money.
That purse is equal to what women’s Bantamweight champion Holly Holm will earn, a stratospherically higher number than Miesha tate, who will earn $46,000 for showing up on ….View full article
