In the main event, Amanda Nunes became the fourth Women’s Bantamweight Champion in under a year, dominating Miesha Tate en route to a vicious submission just 3:16 into the first round (highlights here). The victory was “The Lioness'” sixth inside the Octagon, tying Ronda Rousey for most in division history.
In the co-main event, former UFC Heavyweight champ Brock Lesnar returned to action following a five year layoff, and handily defeated a top ten contender in Mark Hunt via decision.

For her first title defense, Nunes will likely fight either Ronda Rousey, Holly Holm, or Julianna Pena.
UFC brass has made it clear when “Rowdy” is ready to return, she will fight for the title. If that happens to be in the next few months — say potentially at UFC 205 in New York — you can expect Nunes vs. Rousey in the main or co-main event.
