UFC 205: Lonely Tim Kennedy calls out Nick Diaz, Anderson Silva … and just about everyone else

96 0

Like Billy Squier once said: Lonely is the night.

Especially if that night is Sat., Nov. 12, 2016, and your name is Tim Kennedy when the UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) event takes place inside Madison Square Garden in New York City.

That’s because the longtime middleweight contender doesn’t have a date to the big dance, now that New York State Athletic Commission ruled his opponent, Rashad Evans, medically unfit to compete (more on that here).

Desperate times call for desperate measures.

@JacareMMA I’m pretty sure I beat you the last time we fought. It was a split decision. A gift. Want to go again? #UFCNYC #ufc205

@bisping I heard you were going to be in New York are at Madison Square Garden for UFC 205. Feel like trying to redeem a beatdown you got?

@nickdiaz209 UFC 205 might need your help. Not sure if you want to come to New York this weekend. I heard somebody needs an opponent…

@SpiderAnderson was curious if you had any plans November 12? Want to meet me in New York at Madison Square Garden?

— Tim Kennedy (@TimKennedyMMA) November 8, 2016

Anyone? Anyone?

Kennedy (18-5) hasn’t been seen since his technical knockout loss to Yoel Romero in the wake of the now-infamous Stool Gate debacle at UFC 178 (details). That said, the Hitler hunter and full-time soldier is making one last run toward the top of the division.

Or saying goodbye to combat sports.
