UFC 207 odds: Ronda Rousey vs Amanda Nunes prop bets, latest betting lines and much more

Prop bets: They’re what separates the men from the men who aren’t very good at gambling.

UFC 207 hits the pay-per-view (PPV) airwaves this Friday evening (Dec. 30, 2016), featuring Amanda Nunes vs. Ronda Rouesy in the main event and Dominick Cruz vs. Cody Garbrandt one fight prior. It’s kind of a big deal. And, as with all big deals, the bookies have plenty of options for the would-be seers among you.

You can find several sportsbooks’ prop offerings on BestFightOdds.com, while our friends at OddsShark.com offer their own breakdown. As always, be extra careful with props — this is the least predictable sport on the planet and it has a habit of burning the greedy.

Nevertheless, let’s take a look at what’s available. Here’s Bovada’s current offerings:

Dominick Cruz Wins by Five-Round Decision (+120)

I agree wholeheartedly with OddsShark on this one. Cruz isn’t much of a finisher and, against a bruiser like Garbrandt, likely isn’t going to overextend himself looking for the stoppage. He’s over -200 straight-up, which I consider worth it anyway because of “The Dominator’s” impeccable defense, but it’s hard to argue with betting on the best Bantamweight of all time at positive odds.

Dong Hyun Kim Wins by Three-Round Decision (+230 on 5Dimes)

“Stun Gun” seems to have finally remembered that he’s not a slugger. He can still get the finish against lesser grapplers, sure, but Saffiedine has just one stoppage loss in his career. If you believe, as I do, that Kim will win this fight, this is how he’s going to do it. Saffiedine doesn’t have the stopping power to stay out of the clinch or enough time to rack up fight-ending damage with his low kicks.

Johny Hendricks vs. Neil Magny Goes to a Decision (-165 on 5Dimes)

I have Magny winning this and a decision sounds about right. Hendricks has only ever been knocked out once, surviving 50 minutes of Robbie Lawler beforehand, and Magny can take an incredible licking and keep on ticking. Further, Hendricks has no submission wins in the last eight years and no knockouts in the last three. Fairly safe investment, I’d say.

I feel bad for only offering three picks, but that’s what happens when the injury bug runs wild — bargains always seem to be the first to go. To check out the straight up odds for UFC 207, as well as our “best bets” tomorrow night, click here.
