Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt have done their part to promote their upcoming Bantamweight title fight at UFC 207 on Dec. 20, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And it’s a good thing, too, since a certain someone is on a media blackout.
“The Dominator” and “No Love” have gone back-and-forth in the media for the better part of the year, setting up what is sure-to-be a hard-hitting and exciting 135-pound title fight.
After Cruz buried the hatchet with Team Alpha Male (TAM) leader Urijah Faber — whom he has two championship wins over — he now looks to silence the young, up-and-coming star who just so happens to be one of “California Kid’s” proteges.
Whether or not the young bull can back up all of his words and dethrone the “old man,” remains to be seen. But, it’s sure going to be fun watching him try to do it, while Cruz looks to hold on to the title he’s had around his waste for some time.
UFC 207 will be headlined by a women’s bantamweight title fight as Amanda Nunes defends her strap against former champion Ronda Rousey. To see who else is fighting a UFC 207 click here.
