I learned it from watching you!!!
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) welterweight champion Tyron Woodley is one of the most vocal mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters on the roster, leading many combat sports fans to believe “The Chosen Queen One” has a chip on his shoulder.
But Woodley insists he’s keeping it real.
That said, any and all drama coming from the UFC 209 headliner is learned behavior, as Woodley insists he learned how to be a drama queen from the best in the business, UFC President Dana White.
“How is Dana White gonna call me a drama queen? He’s the biggest drama queen. I learned from the best. I just think that we’ve seen Dana, if you get Dana mad, he gets really mad. And then really quickly — I think he’s mad at so many people, I think he forgets he’s mad at you. And he almost just wipes it from his memory. I thought it was actually kind of funny when he called me a drama queen.”
And you thought these guys were always mad.
Woodley has a chance to continue his 170-pound title reign when he runs it back with Stephen Thompson in the UFC 209 pay-per-view (PPV) main event (details), taking place this Saturday night (March 4, 2017) inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
And speaking of drama, let’s hope we can avoid a repeat of this.
