Check out the first episode of Embedded for UFC 209.
UFC 209 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the four title contestants that make up the top of the card.
First off we see interim lightweight challenger Khabib Nurmagomedov, who meets some fans after a training session at AKA, and talks about the importance of becoming the UFC’s first Muslim champion. From there it moves over to his opponent, Tony Ferguson, who is doing some unique outdoor training before working on his mental focus in a 10-minute ice bath. Yikes.
Next up is the headlining fighters, with Stephen Thompson doing some training and caving into eating a slice of pizza even though he knows he shouldn’t. Meanwhile, Tyron Woodley is able to attend his son’s wrestling meet for the first time of the season, and he watched them both win a match.
UFC 209 goes down March 4th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
