Check out episode four of Embedded for UFC 209.
UFC 209 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big show in Las Vegas, and the format is pretty much the same as the first three, but some of the other fighters on the card are introduced.
Khabib Nurmagomedov sets off to Mike Tyson’s house to meet his idol, but they don’t allow cameras to film it. He then goes to the arena, where he is greeted by welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, Rashad Evans (who makes his middleweight debut against Dan Kelly on the card), and heavyweight Mark Hunt, who takes a selfie with him. Tyrone Spong is also there.
Khabib and Rashad sit around signing posters and talking for a bit. Then it switches to Stephen Thompson, talking about the last few days before the fight. They move to the TUF gym, where Khabib does a workout and shows off his new t-shirt. He’s then in the sauna with Rashad, who does a hilarious Mike Tyson impression. Seriously, watch the episode just for this. So funny.
The open workouts are then featured. First up is Khabib, who gives away some gifts to a lucky fan. Then Tony Ferguson does his own unique workout. Wonderboy and Woodley get in their show for the fans and do a bit of media, and they’re good to go.
