Check out the third episode of Embedded for UFC 216.
UFC 216 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Things start off with Demetrious Johnson, who predicts the fight will go four rounds on a radio interview. Ray Borg gets a shout out on his flight to Vegas, which earns some applause. We’re back in LA now, with Mighty Mouse and Kevin Lee at a media luncheon. Lee talks Tony Ferguson, and Johnson teases a weight-cutting Lee by talking about food non-stop.
Derrick Lewis is still working out in Houston. His coaches don’t trust him to go home and eat, and they’re telling him what restaurants they’ll take him to. Now we’re in Vegas at the Performance Institute, where Fabricio Werdum talks about his workout.
Finally, we’re back in Vegas. Lee arrives in town and talks about his prep, then goes for a run in the dark by his house. Tony Ferguson is working out at night as well, talking about testing Lee’s chin. He then closes with his typical (?) unique statements about…something or other.
UFC 216 goes down this Saturday night in Las Vegas.
