Things got heated (sort of) at the UFC 217 press conference today.

Things were a bit tense during the UFC 217 press conference today. The New York show goes down next month, and promotion for the event is centered around the headliner between UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and returning welterweight legend Georges St-Pierre. But they weren’t the only ones getting serious at the usually-boring staredowns.

First up were bitter rivals and former teammates Cody Garbrandt and T.J. Dillashaw. They had a pretty good face-off, but didn’t get physical:

Next up was UFC bantamweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk and challenger Rose Namajunas. Jedrzejczyk played her usual head games, seeming to say “I’m going to f—k you up” before kissing her fist and extending it at Namajunas…and coming about a millimeter short of bonking her on the nose:

Finally it was down to the headliners. Bisping adjusted GSP’s tie first, which just earned him a smirk. But when he tried to grab St-Pierre’s bicep, GSP pushed him away. Bisping acted surprised that he got such a reaction out of the usually-cool GSP, who just stood there with the same smirk on his face as he had before. Bisping then grabbed his belt and did a bit more chirping:

UFC 217 goes down November 4th in Madison Square Garden in New York City.
