Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 217.
UFC 217 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in NYC, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Stephen Thompson kicks off the show this time. He exchanges pleasantries with Michael Bisping, then goes to check out Times Square on Halloween. Back at the hotel, T.J. Dillashaw is doing a short training session and talking about winning the bantamweight belt again.
Former WEC champ and ATT trainer Mike Brown is wrestling with Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and she talks about her weight cut a bit.
Georges St-Pierre is at Renzo Gracie’s academy, doing a bit of a workout and setting up to cut weight. Renzo himself makes a cameo, and gives GSP some tips.
Bisping is talking to his kids on the phone, who are clowning on him as usual. He went for a run, and then they show his verbal disagreement with Jorge Masvidal in the lobby.
On the way to the press conference, Georges wants to know who would win an MMA fight between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un. Later he brings up Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, thinking maybe he could fight too.
A few of the fighters are given Tiffany tickets, and all are appreciative. The fighters say hello to each other, then they show a few choice quips from the press conference, including the face-offs. Joanna talks metric tons of crap, then extends her fist into Rose’s nose. Bisping teases GSP and asks to see his lizard tongue. St-Pierre obliges.
UFC 217 goes down this Saturday night in Madison Square Garden.
