With all the drama in the last seven days, it was wondered by many if there would be a lightweight title fight at all on this card. There will indeed be one, but only one guy can actually win the title as per NYSAC. In the main event, Khabib Nurmagomedov will take on Al Iaquinta. The co-main is the awaited rematch between Rose Namajunas and Joanna Jedrzejczyk for the UFC women’s strawweight title.
This post will cover the preliminary card. The featured prelim bout takes place in the women’s strawweight division, with former title challenger Karolina Kowalkiewicz meeting the rising Felice Herrig.
Because Conor McGregor killed one quarter of the card with his bus smashing there are only four fights on the undercard, which means no Fight Pass. Then start on FS1 at 8pm ET/5pm PT for those four fights. The lineup and schedule follows. The main card will be covered in a separate post.
